Terms and conditions of sale
In force since 01 July 2026
These terms govern sales concluded on paveboards.com between Pavé Boards SAS and its customers. Placing an order constitutes unreserved acceptance.
1. Purpose and scope
These terms set out the rights and obligations of Pavé Boards SAS and its customers in the distance selling of decorative boards, custom boards and related products on paveboards.com.
They apply to every order placed on the site, to the exclusion of any other terms. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order.
2. Products and availability
Products are described as accurately as possible. Photographs and configurator renders are not contractual documents: wood is a living material and slight variations in tone and grain are inherent to one-off manufacturing.
Offers are valid while stocks last. Our runs are limited and are not reprinted.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros inclusive of tax, excluding delivery, which is calculated and displayed before payment is confirmed.
Payment is made online by card through our provider Stripe. The order is recorded only once payment is confirmed. No card data is stored on our servers.
4. Custom boards and proof
A custom board is made one at a time from the file supplied by the customer. Before any press run, Pavé Boards sends the customer a proof, within forty-eight working hours of payment.
The proof reproduces the final result, cartouche included. The customer has thirty days to approve it or request a correction. With no reply after that period, the order is suspended and the customer contacted.
- Approving the proof starts the press immediately.
- No change to the file, the cartouche or the finish is possible after approval.
- Pavé Boards reserves the right to refuse any file whose content is unlawful, infringing or damaging to the rights of third parties.
The customer warrants holding all necessary rights over the artwork supplied and indemnifies Pavé Boards against any third party claim in that respect.
Where the customer chooses to print a file below the recommended resolution, this is stated explicitly in the configurator and must be confirmed. That confirmation is retained and attached to the order; the resulting print is not a manufacturing defect.
5. Delivery
Items in stock ship within forty-eight working hours. Custom boards ship within five to seven working days of proof approval, pressing and drying included.
Stated lead times are indicative. A delay does not give rise to cancellation unless it exceeds thirty days from the order, in accordance with article L216-2 of the French consumer code.
6. Right of withdrawal
The customer has fourteen days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase of standard products, without reason or penalty. Pavé Boards extends this to thirty days as a commercial gesture.
Returned products must show no sign of use. Return shipping is at the customer's cost. Refunds are issued within fourteen days of receipt of the return.
In accordance with article L221-28 of the French consumer code, custom boards are excluded from the right of withdrawal: they are made to the customer's specifications and clearly personalised.
7. Warranties
The customer benefits from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects under French law.
Any manufacturing defect, in particular delamination, an opening ply or a bubble under the print, gives rise to replacement. Normal wear of a board, a wear part by nature, is not covered.
8. Personal data
The data collected is necessary to process and deliver the order. It is neither sold nor transferred. Details of processing, retention periods and customer rights are set out in our privacy policy.
9. Disputes and mediation
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer contacts our customer service first.
Failing an amicable solution, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator whose details appear at the foot of this page, or use the European online dispute resolution platform.
